About: Founded in 1992, the Association Nationale Des Echanges Entre Jeunes (National Association for Youth Exchanges) – ANEJ – is a non-governmental organization that aims to be a space for free association, and coherent, organized and autonomous intellectual reflection. The organization seeks to promote activities among youth and a culture of citizenship among youth. (Read more)

Life Skills-Related: Under their project, “Citizenship: Youth in Action” aims to promote volunteerism among youth (18-30) and adolescents (14-16) and their engagement at community level. The project takes place in the provinces of Mila and Bouira. They are a main implementer of the governmental program to support youth employment (PAJE—Programme d’Appui Jenunesse Emploi), that seeks to provide support in the search for employment and school to work career transitions.
